When is being a vegetarian about more than vegetarian diet?
When other people are involved: When your vegetarian diet affects your family, unborn children, parents, partner or spouse, your friends and enemies; your boss, co-workers, employees, students, teachers; your budget, the holidays...etc.
All of those issues overlap with health, nutrition & relationships.
We want to have healthy vegetarian pregnancies and happy vegetarian children. We would love our non-vegetarians families and friends to understand and accept our vegetarian diet.
We want to make vegetarian holiday food that non-vegetarians will happily eat, we want to get our kids to eat more vegetables, we worry about our vegan teen's health.
